LeLogix to impart training on mechanical Design at N.I.E.T. engineering college. (May 21st, 2008)
N.I.E.T. – College in Greater Noida has entered an agreement with a mechanical designing company LeLogix Design solutions Pvt. Ltd. According to this agreement, LeLogix Design will open its training center in the college to impart training to staff and students.According to professor and dean (academic) , Mr. Praveen Prachauri, Institute has entered in an agreement with LeLogix. T he chairman of the institute Mr. O. P. Agarwal and the director of the LeLogix Design Company Mr. Naresh Bhagat have signed the agreement. The company will use the laboratory of the college to provide training on new technologies related to Automotive and Aerospace design. The training duration is 6 months. First batch will comprise of student who are facing the problems in getting job even after completion of their engineering course. Fee for this course will be from Rs 50 to 60 thousands. Program has been designed for 900 hours. In last two months of this program, candidates will be for working on live projects.
Students will be given the training on various designing software’s in CAD/CAM/CAE. This will help the teachers from the institute to get free of cost training and the students will be benefited from this. LeLogix Design will raise funds to develop the technologies in college laboratory. The agreement is valid for the period of two years. Mr. Praveen Prachauri has told that student opting for M.Tech in mechanical design will be specially benefited from this agreement.
