Kallis ruled out the possibility of an early retirement but he was evasive about his future as a player. Kallis said that he was reconsidering his options about the rest of his career and he feels that he still has a lot of cricket left in him.
“I have resigned as the vice captain and I am considering my options about the rest of my career” said Kallis. He also said that he was very excited about the prospect of playing in the Twenty20 World Cup and that there were lots of emotions involved with it. He further said that he was very disappointed as he could not find a place in the team. Kallis has been one of the best players of the South African team and his contribution to the game cannot be undermined at any cost.
