Las Vegas Disc Jockey John Dote' has been wowing audiences for years with his drums, vocals and songwriting ability. He has performed live with such legends as John Lee Hooker, Buddy Miles, Santana, Greg Allman, Ike and Tina Turner, Liberace and many others. He has appeared on the front cover of many magazines and newspapers all across the country. His live performances in Las Vegas have drawn more crowds to Nellis Airforce base and to this date the attendance records are unsurpassed".

His live performance drew more than 10,000 spectators when only 1500 were expected. His concert on the fourth of July was nothing short of spectacular. He was driven in his Rolls Royce by none other than the Colonel of the United States Airforce to the stage where Dote' exited to the delight of a roaring crowd. Brilliant Bursts of fire works worth $100,000.00 lit up the Nellis sky at the Independance Day celebration Monday. Then 5 F15 fighters blew across the horizon with a show of force.

Nellis celebrated this Independance Day with a real bang Monday at the Four Diamonds Complex. Temperatures soared into the 100's, but didn't stop the crowd from growing as the day wore on for the concert by John Dote' and NightBeat. First the crowd entertained themselves at the game booths like the dunking tank sponsored by the First Sergeants' Council and volleyball.

Next, a live- entertainment show got the crowd rocking on it's feet. They were all standing. John Dote' and NightBeat wowed the audience with his vocal ability which was filmed. The band members included Lynn Janese on electric drums, Vern Holmes on percussions and vocals, Charlie Starr on keyboards and vocals, Ralph Bruce on bass and Eli Anderson on guitar. The band hammered out such classic's as Stormy, Wild Flower, Sealed With A Kiss and Man In The Making. Video of the concert was deleted because of the audio lack of transmission feed. But the concert was captured partially on CD and re-enhanced in the studio. The quality turned out amazing with Dote' as the engineer. The big finale was, of course a dazzling fireworks display. Then bodies lay scattered across the lawns on blankets and chairs watching as the Nellis skies were streaked by brilliant red, blue, silver, green and purple shooting stars. Plenty of ooohs and aaahs greeted this spectacular concert.

Morale, welfare and recreation coordinated the event for the 10,000 screaming spectators. It was the end of a perfect evening according to CMSgt. Pete Monarch, recreation services superintendant and, "a very successful Independance Day Celebration".

Dote' has recorded over 3,000 songs and countless of albums and singles from various artists throughout his career in the record industry. He is also a record producer and arranger who owns a 24 track digital studio in the entertainment capitol of the world, Las Vegas! His talents have been well documented on numerous television and radio interviews and his original soundtracks have recieved nation wide airplay.

His previous european style albums include Hooked On Themes (http://freewebs.com/jodo777d69/), A Hero From Zero (http://freewebs.com/jodo777d55/), Knight Of A 1000 Dreams and Hard Life, which landed at number 1 on internet radio giant Music Places. The album contains mixtures of Pop, reggae, smooth jazz and contemporary sounds. The internet claims that this is by far the best John Dote' album ever recorded. However, the album Hooked On Themes contains the themes from televisions Charlie's Angels, Hawaii Five-0, Rockford Files and several other notable themes. The difference between the two albums is that Hooked On Themes is instrumental in its entirety and Hard Life features John Dote' on vocals.

Dote's father was a record promoter in the record industry and his credits of promotions include Tina Turner, Corey Hart, Clint Eastwood, War, Heart, Sheena Easton, Led Zepplin, The Rolling Stones, Aretha Franklin, The Spinners and many others. Which explains how the younger Dote' began his career. In fact, his father discovered The Doobie Bros. in a San Francisco laundermat. These days, Dote' is making it as one of the most Premiere Disc Jockeys in Las Vegas for all types of party events. The events vary from wedding receptions to corporate events to private partys.
