Pamela S. Thibodeaux, a long-time resident of Iowa, LA, has signed a five-book contract with ComStar Media, LLC. Tempered Hearts and Tempered Dreams (which were previously e-published by Writer’s Exchange Epublishing Co. out of Atherton Australia) were re-released by ComStar Media in Nov. 2005 while edits for book 3, Tempered Fire, are underway.
Multi-published in romantic fiction and creative non-fiction, Thibodeaux, who co-founded the Bayou Writers Group in Lake Charles, Louisiana, is quick to give credit where credit is due saying, “when I recommitted my life to Christ, my whole focus for writing changed.” Although her writing has been deemed too ‘steamy and gritty’ for the CBA market Thibodeaux is glad to have finally found a home for her 5part ‘Tempered’ series.
Jennifer Lee Anderson, Editor of ComStar Media, says they are pleased to have signed Mrs. Thibodeaux’s series, claiming that they’re sure to “make a splash in the fiction world” with the books and that they are “looking forward to a long and prosperous relationship with Thibodeaux.”
Tempered Hearts narrates the story of Craig and Tamera who, thrown together amid tragedy and unsated passion, must make peace with their pasts and God in order to open up to the love blossoming between them.
In Tempered Dreams Dr. Scott Hensley, who has built a wall around his heart, and Katrina Simmons, a recovering battered wife, face their problems via Gods’ love.
Tempered Fire revolves around Amber, Craig and Tamera's daughter. Through love and laughter, temptation and tragedy, Amber Harris and Stanley Morrison must come to understand the absolute meaning of trust and forgiveness if their marriage is to last as long, and be as strong as her parents'.
